Summer Day

Morning in an empty alley. Wet morning glories.
Wind flows silently through the city. The scenery changes colour.
A body used to being injured. A sad plain face.
I feel I can’t help but have this form. A nonsense self-reproach.

Shed skin bloomed on a building’s walls. Dried-up dreams.
A song shines with a dull light. Dazzling screams.

Rocked by a wave of people, we play, chasing a mirage.

From someone,
“I don’t want to be hated.” “I don’t want to hate.” “I can’t help it.”
You do laughter well when it’s just on the surface!

My voice won’t reach you. I can only match the coherence.
The hated sweat won’t stop. I don’t understand anyone’s feelings.

Summer day. A revolving fan. Put a finger in and play. How weird I am.

Shed skin bloomed on a building’s walls. Dried-up dreams.
A song shines with a dull light. Dazzling screams.

Rocked by the sound of the wind, we praise the leafy cherry trees burning in the morning sun.

Anyone can gently say things like,
“I can’t get used to it.” “I can’t do it.” “I don’t wanna do it.”
Honest as it is, it hurts. That’s a necessity!

I have to stop running away, something will break.
Following the broken back with my hand, I closed my eyes and crushed it.

Summer day. Burning cicadas’ voices. Now is when I set off. To a new morning.

Summer day. Burning cicadas’ voices. Now is when I set off. To a new morning.

I’ll start walking.
